Gloria Rhodes, 66 years old patient living in TRNC, got diagnosed with lung cancer last year and started her treatment in her country. After having a successful operation in our hospital, she is now feeling happy for her recovery.

She underwent chemotherapy treatment in January 2015 because of lung tumor. After her disease was managed, she decided to come to DEU Hospital upon the recommendation of the doctors in TRNC to have an operation.

Rhodes was operated by Prof. Dr. Aydın Şanlı from the Department of Thoracic Surgery and right upper lobe of her lung was removed. After a month in hospital she felt good enough to be discharged.

She stated that she was really satisfied with the services offered and her morale improved.
